We are looking for wood! From off cuts to lengths of left over timber, wooden pallets to unwanted furniture, we will find a use for it.

We are also looking for traditional wood working tools. All of our apprentices will refurbish a full set of hand tools that they will take with them when they leave us to find work in the industry.

MENTOR AND TRAIN

At the heart of LOOP is the idea that skills should be passed on, so that they can be used within the next generation of wood workers. Perhaps you know, or are a retired carpenter or cabinet maker, who would like to pass on your skills. We are looking for male and female candidates, as we will be offering our programs to young men and women.

SITE CLEARANCE

A high proportion of wood can wasted when buildings are demolished or new builds are finished. We will happily remove the useable wood from a construction or demolition project. The wood will be cleaned up and used in our workshop or made available to our LOOP graduates as they take on their own jobs and commissions.
